This Privacy Policy will explain and describe how I collect, use and share information when you purchase an item from my shop, when you contact me or use my services through Etsy.com or its related sites and services.
My shop, Brilla Design offers transparency and trust and reliable customer service, always there for every request or concern.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of third parties that I do not own or control, including Etsy or any third party services you access through Etsy. You can reference the Etsy Privacy Policy to learn more about its privacy practices.

1.) INFORMATION I COLLECT

To fulfil your order, you must provide me with certain information (which you authorized Etsy to provide to me), such as
your name
email address
postal address
payment information
telephone number
and the details of the product that you’re ordering.

You may also choose to provide me with additional personal information (for a custom order for example), if you contact me directly.

Your phone number is needed for the shipping company so that the courier can find you at the address given. I do not use your phone number in any other way and I do not make any promotions over phone calls.


2.) WHY I NEED YOUR INFORMATION AND HOW I USE IT

I rely on a number of legal bases to collect, use, and share your information, including:

1) as needed to provide my services, such as when I use your information to fulfil your order, to settle disputes, or to provide customer support;

- providing and improving my services. I use your information to provide the services you requested and in my legitimate interest toimprove my services; and
- Compliance with the Etsy Seller Policy and Terms of Use. I use your information as necessary to comply with my obligations under the Etsy Seller Policy and Terms of Use.


3.) INFORMATION SHARING AND DISCLOSURE

Your privacy and safety are crucial for my business. I will never share your information any other way, but in limited situations such as:

1) Etsy. I share information with Etsy as necessary to provide you my services and comply with my obligations under both the Etsy Seller Policy and Etsy Terms of Use.

2) Service providers. I engage certain trusted third parties to perform functions and provide services to my shop, such as delivery companies. I will share your personal information with these third parties, but only to the extent necessary to perform these services.

3) Business transfers. If I sell or merge my business, I may disclose your information as part of that transaction, only to the extent permitted by law.

However, I may also be required to retain this information to comply with my legal and regulatory obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce my agreements. I generally keep your data for the following time period: 2 years.

5.) YOUR RIGHTS

If you are resident in the EU but also in other territories, you have certain rights regarding your personal information.

1) Access: you have the right to access and receive a copy with your personal information and you can contact me to receive it

2) Change, make any restriction and delete. You also have the right to make any change, to restrict your information and to delete it. Except for the case when I will need the information for any legal matter, I will delete it if asked.

3) Object. You can object to me and the process of your information, for example in receiving marketing material or any promos, even after you have expressed you affirmative consent. You can change that anytime you wish.

4) Complain. If you live in the EU and have any complaint to make at my use of your data, you have the right to do so with your local data protection authority.
